Capstone Research Project
How deeply do Early Childhood Educators feel assisted by the College of Early Childhood Educators (CECE) concerning wage disparities and mental health?
This is where you can read all about my capstone research project!

About
My research partner, Sophya Cinti, and I sought to ask the question "how deeply do ECEs feel supported by the College of Early Childhood Educators?" To do this, we first conducted a content analysis of the CECE website, specifically looking for any mention of the word "wellness" or of resources provided by the CECE to support educator wellbeing. Afterwards, we interviewed two educators to see whether the resources provided by the College were sufficient or if they even knew about them. By the end, we concluded that the College has done a good job of ensuring educators are aware of the wellness resources, while more research is needed to understand how the College affects educators' financial well-being. We recommended that the CECE either fully commit to supporting educators or fully comminting to just being a regulatory body, not half and half.
